(OP here) At least one of my comments get deleted and idk why? I don't feel like typing it up again but I basically said that boys now a days are still almost always circumcised as far as I knew and from what I've seen changing diapers at day care, just about every boy is cut, and if my son isn't circumcisied he'll be the odd one out
Circumcision may not be as prevalent as you think. Overall from 1999 to 2010, the CDC’s weighted analysis found that the approximate percentage of newborn US males who were circumcised was approximately 59.1% according to the NHDS, 57.8% according to the NIS, and 55.8% according to the CDM. The incidence of newborn male circumcision decreased over time in all 3 data sources: from 62.5% in 1999 to 56.9% in 2008 according to the NHDS; from 63.5% in 1999 to 56.3% in 2008 according to the NIS; and from 58.4% in 2001 to 54.7% in 2010 according to the CDM. (analysis only included data taken from hospitals.)
