Heck, my daughters (2 and 4) are the ones at the beach with only their bottoms on. And just yesterday my youngest daughter got her shirt dirty at the park and we just changed her shirt out in the open without a thought. Ooh, scandalous! But if they are wearing dresses at the park they always wear shorts or leggings under. They hate getting rocks, sand, mulch, etc. in their undies which is totally understandable I think. And also, my oldest daughter claims that going down the slide hurts the backs of her legs if she is just wearing underwear under a dress. I never thought about that, but with the friction I guess it makes sense. [/quote]
