New to entertaining houseguests as we have always lived in shoeboxes! We have a guest arriving from UK for 3 nights. What should I have on hand in the morning for breakfast? What have you appreciated on offer when you have stayed as a houseguest. I'm thinking I'll make a big batch of granola, have Greek yogurt and cut fruit every day plus coffee and juice. Maybe croissants one day too. I need a few more solid ideas! Thanks!!
Sounds perfect for me. I personally also like good homemade muffins on vacation (more than croissants!). And lots of fresh fruit. A frittata is fairly easy to prep too. Doesn't hurt to ask too.
+1 on frittata, esp if guests are staying thru the weekend. You can prep all the veggies the night before. Very simple to throw together the next morning and people seem to always love them.
