If you haven't already done it OP, you probably should live several states away from her and just focus on developing your own life.  If you're constantly feeling in competition (or even just comparison) with her, it's really unhealthy and distracting.

HOw did your parents treat you?  Did you feel like she was the favorite?  These dynamics can be so toxic, even if your sister has no idea you feel this way or no sense of being in competition with you.

You need to get some space and develop your own adult world and friends.  Go away to college if you're still young enough to live at home.  But you need space.

Or... counseling.  Counseling is a really good step too, whether you live away from your sis or not.  Good luck![/quote]
