Do you know anything about child development? It's very normal for a child this young to show a preference for one parent over another. 
We went through something very similar. Like many toddler things, it lasted for a week or two. It wasn't an indicator for brattiness, nor was it an indicator that our son liked one of us more than the other. I do think he just found it easier to spend one on one time, not one on two time.[/quote]

Saying "go away, Daddy" had NOTHING to do with preference for one parent over the other.  It is all about control and testing how much power they have.  I agree with the PP who said to her child, "No, Daddy will not go away - Mommy wants him here".
