I call OP a troll. Two days in a row? Other parents in the classroom? Doesn't ring right.
I am not a troll. It wasn't really two days in a row - it was like a Thurs and a Monday or something like that. But close together. And all year my kid has been struggling with the water thing. As soon as I pick him up, he grabs my water bottle and drinks half of it down. I have spoken to the teacher many times about allowing the kids to use the fountain in the room, and she says she lets them use it whenever they want. However, it's not true, because all the kids are afraid to get up unless they ask first, and many are afraid to even ask. I have seen the teacher's aide actually yell at kids for trying to get a drink. There are many things wrong with this classroom, and frankly I think the whole school is wonky somehow. Just not right. The principal is completely unhelpful and retaliates if you complain (and retaliates viciously - I know, because I've complained). I know it doesn't ring right, but unfortunately it is true.
