I missed the first week of middle school in a new school/town, and it was hard to figure out all the social stuff while also figuring out my locker, changing classes, etc. I missed the first week of 10th and 11th grades, and I swore that I wouldn't do that to my kids after 2nd grade or so. Not worth it and definitely not in OP's case. [/quote]
