I had low-grade fevers, bad gas-like pains after eating and a bit of blood in my stool. Was losing lots of weight but chalked it up to breastfeeding since I was less than a year postpartum. I have Stage III colon cancer.
Are you having chemotherapy now. I am sending you positive thoughts and prayers.
Yes, just started my fourth month of chemo. I'm told the 10-year survival odds for my stage are 60-70%, so hoping for the best. Thanks so much!
I don't want to detract from the purpose of this thread, PP, but check out Dr. Shamsuddin's IP-6 inositol. Call him if you need to to speak with him. He's a professor at the University of Maryland, I believe. You can get info about this product as well as many other supplements at Village Green Apothecary in Bethesda, MD. They have nutritionists on staff to answer your questions. Set up an appointment to have a full eval there at the apothecary. The right supplements and alternative support can make chemo more bearable and boost your energy level. A medical journal article also cited Dr. Shamsuddin's IP-6 inositol as effective in preventing the recurrence of colon cancer. Google it. Prayers to you.
