While I was well traveled and had lived outside the US I had not lived outside the Bethesda/NW bubble in the US. It's good to get out and experience something different.[/quote] There are plenty of colleges within driving distance in communities that are very different from Bethesda/NW. There are rural communities, communities with very Midwestern (parts of WV, and PA), or Southern environments, urban communities, etc . . . [/quote]
