Guess what? Your mother is also entitled to wanting her life to be a bit easier. You are not the only person in the world. Your mother would be well within her rights to say no to you living with her, let alone to say yes and just bar the dog. She is entitled to her preferences in her own home! For the record - I have a loving, caring mother who hates pets and also loves to keep her house spotless - she'd never take in a pet. Plenty of people do not want to live with pets and that's their right. When you want to move in into someone else's house, you have to put up with their quirks. [/quote]
