I've been studying Bible prophecy for about 32 years. I consider myself a non-denominational Christian. I welcome all Christian denominations. If I had to choose though, I would say the United Church of Christ.[/quote]

I grew up going to United Church of Christ.

Some of the experiences were very good.  Children had to visit elderly every few months.  The older folks loved this and it had a big impression on me.  Church had camping trips, canoe trips, family weekends out.  Quarterly chicken bbqs.  Plays, music concerts.

What I really remember was many of the adults were nurses.  And for sunday school for the teenagers they would hand out sheets of paper with the weekly study topics.   On the back of the handout was the address and phone number for the planned parenthood clinic in the area.

They had cops and narcotics officers visit who passed around bags of marijuana for the entire congregation to touch and see.  That was an uncomfortable sunday school.

Never did find a church like that around northern virginia.[/quote]
