Don't have a kid at a JKLM but could someone tell me what passes for "cool" at Janney? When I am up that way, all I see are women in comfort one shoes, sensible graying hair and Land end vests? is that the cool crowd?   they certainly don't look like the overgrown sorority crowd in G town, Palisades etc.[/quote]

Janney mom here. I have not seen these "cool" moms. Maybe I am so uncool that I am unaware that there is a cool clique. 
If there is, I could not care less. I will attend the auctions with the few other mom friends I have made over the years. We will probably not bid on the summer houses in Europe, but we will have a good time and contribute to the school. [/quote]
