Thank you MCPS 2.0!
It's not only 2.0. They had this ridiculous school polling system, which cost MCPS hundreds of thousands of dollars. This list a reflection of that poll.
Niche should be forced to reclassify their rankings to match US News and World Report, which publishes only pure, objective, unbiased, and untainted information. Besides, I prefer to spend those thousands of down county tax dollars on headhunting our next school superintendent ($33,000 contract PLUS expenses) to take the burden off the MCPS educational board. Its true that blowing $100,000 on lobster dinners and cocktails in an Ocean City weekend retreat helps to take the edge off, but having to independently select the next superintendent is just asking too much. http://www.wjla.com/articles/2014/07/mcps-reimburses-boe-members-for-pricey-meals-taxi-fares-and-more-104758.html
