Local rumor is that the principal and the ACPS central office essentially said, couldn't care less.  Only after trying unsuccessfully for some answer, any answer, did the parents talk to the media, or at least that's the story.

Are you serious with this? Alerting the media exposes the huge flaws in school security. It exposes bullying in early elementary school and the school's complete lack of response or accountability. A little girl was allowed to walk away from school completely unnoticed in today's culture of extreme school security and not even being able to visit your local elementary school so how is that not newsworthy? You sound like a desperate ACPS administrator. [/quote]
