Sure, we may be single and alone, but that doesn't mean we have to lonely.

Being single does not have to equate lonely. Read some of the posts on here from people in loveless marriages who have been cheated on, who want to cheat on their spouses, who feel trapped in their marriages due to the kids and finances as well as all the unhappy people who just stay out of the sheer fear of being alone. The majority are simply terrified of being single....They think they will absolutely die w/out their "other half." So they settle for less than they deserve, yet come on here and complain about how miserable their lives are.

Most of the time, I am relieved to be single after reading a lot of these postings.

I don't have to stress about a husband going on a business trip, why isn't he calling/texting me often, is he having drinks w/someone? or why is my husband taking me for granted, why am I doing all the housework and childcare, etc.??

It's nice to not have to deal with all that drama.

And tomorrow I get to go to the stores and buy all that chocolate for 1/2 off!!!![/quote]
