Noise ordinances cover the time from 9 pm till 7 am on weekdays (times may vary slightly, depending on jurisdiction), so no one is allowed to vacuum or dance loudly in the middle of night. I'm surprised you guys didn't call the cops on your upstairs neighbors after a while. Making noise once or twice - fine, but constantly? I wouldn't have put up with it.[/quote]
