"Orient" is a part of Asia where people have distinctive facial characteristics. Korean looks different from, say, Mongolian or Pakistani. So, if you're referring to someone from southeast Asia, "Oriental" is a more precise description. Of course, it's better to just go with nationality -- Korean, Japanese, Thai, whatever.[/quote] Omg.
