Not so much to see if a particular school is the right fit but to get used to the process, a kind of practice run. I would not start with a school that your DC is particularly interested in. And you are right to hold off, it isn't healthy to start in 9th and it just ramps up the pressure, even if the pressure is self-imposed.[/quote]
