The reason he shouldn't ignore Congress is because according to the Constitution, laws originate in Congress. He's not king.

I must say though, his SOTU hit so many of the pillars of Communism, that I was half-expecting Russia's national anthem to start playing in the background. When he used the word pillar - just too good...pass the popcorn  :) [/quote]
