Our children are early readers anyway but I did notice that we read so much more with the iPad out of the picture.  I only have a foreign language app on my phone so I will sometimes let them play with that if I need to do some lazy parenting.

The iPad is like crack for them so we cannot give it to them in doses.[/quote]
