I'm actually not unhappy with my health benefits, but I'm an attorney so I make a lot less than my private sector friends. That being said, I can't complain because I made the choice to sacrifice pay for more reasonable hours. I'm just frustrated about this widespread belief that we get free healthcare, paid maternity leave, fancy trainings/parties, galore. And the belief that we're overpaid on top of it all.
