I would be less than thrilled about the lack of judgement regarding posting it online. However, I do know several professionals who smoke on their off time and are still very successful in their career and highly regarded. I don't partake myself, but depending on the situation, I wouldn't be overly bothered by it either.
The teacher in question might "smoke on his off time" but the parent is smelling it on the teacher's clothes AT SCHOOL. So either the teacher is smoking before school -- great way to be attentive and ready for the day! -- or is so dumb that keeping clothes clean isn't on his or her radar, or is so used to the smell of pot that he or she doesn't even notice it any more. Combine that with being stupid enough to think it's fine to post about it on social media and the teacher sounds like the wrong person to have in charge of any kids, much less special needs kids who require teachers who are especially alert and attentive. OP, have you reported this yet? Don't hesitate. You have a special needs kindergartener. Your child shouldn't be taught by someone who is this dumb, careless, self-absorbed and, yes, unconcerned about his or her career as well.
