If not, shouldn't there be?  In the dorms, there are R.A.s.  Just some sort of hierarchy. With herd animals, always hear about it in terms of mating rights, but there are other functions of being the dominant male. The old bull elephant(s) keep the "teenage" elephants in line; keep them "socialized."
