No. I am an Aunt to my husband's sister's children. I love them deeply. Yes, you can be an aunt or uncle and not have siblings.[/quote]

Agreed - odd that the "never an aunt or uncle" poster thinks this.  I guess that's the downside of having siblings - your parents having so many kids that they don't have time to teach their children how familial relationships work.   :roll: [/quote]
