[/quote] OP - I live in a W school district - mine are in HS. It's not all in your head or a giant overthink - some of the moms really are snotty and mean spirited. The moms that do this tend to be social climbers and even use their kids to that end - can't play with the "wrong" family etc. Such is life - there are nice people out there but some of us have been burned by the nasty behavior of the grown up mean girls. Have you noticed that the same group of moms also seems to run most of the extracurricular teams, scouts etc...? This was my biggest peeve, no way to escape them![/quote]
