No. You start it.  Anyone who wants to can join it.  You'd need to publicize it, and if you wanted to keep it just to BASIS families you'd need some way to verify.

but how would you publicise it?  I do not believe the people who abolished the list serve will write in their newsletters that another one has been created.  There is no word of mouth at Basis, and I for one wouldn't care if some people joined who are not Basis parents until they wreak havoc and then I would look them up and have at them the way you are pillorying someone here whom you all think you know the identity of........ you know what they say about assumptions, and since she can no longer clear her name on the listserve I think this is kind of unfair, especially because I know it was not her on the other thread where everyone claimed they knew the crazy lady......[/quote]
