Let me guess, you are one of the folks running around out there holding up what you think are examples of bad "Common Core math problems" and poorly worded math questions along with other curriculum examples touted as "Common Core" that are flying around on message boards, chain emails, conservative blogs, et cetera - but here's the fundamental problem with all of that:  Common Core is a set of standards.  It's not "math problems" - it's not "worksheets" - it's not curriculum.  There is no such thing as a "Common Core math problem" or "Common Core worksheet".  And if you don't even understand that basic reality, then you aren't particularly qualified to be talking about Common Core at all, let alone bashing it.[/quote]
