Uh, no, it is NOT! Go read some prior threads here on Mormonism.
Opinions expressed on DCUM threads are not evidence of anything except of people's opinions. for information about what mormons say about their beliefs, go to the official Mormon website http://www.mormon.org "MORMONS AND RELIGION The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the official name of the religion commonly called the Mormon Church. We believe first and foremost that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Son of God. While our backgrounds and experiences are diverse, Mormons are united by a commitment to Jesus Christ. This site features members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sharing their stories and telling what their faith means to them."
Or go to a Mormon ward service and see for yourself. It's obviously not a Christian denomination. And that's ok! Not everything has to be.
right, disregard facts and go to a service and "see for yourself" that it's what pp says it is. It's not just "OK" with pp that moronism is not christianity, it's essential to pp that people disregard how Mormons perceive themselves and instead see it pp's way - the ONE TRUE WAY?
My goodness! If you truly believe that the "facts" you noted from the Mormon website are correct, why on earth would you be concerned with someone attending a service? Anyone that attends a service or, even better, a sacrament meeting, would be capable of making their own conclusions about the LDS faith. Isn't Taft what all that "free agency" is for PP?
the official Mormon website is the most accurate source of what Mormons believe. They believe they are Christians. If you don't think so, fine, but that is your personal opinion. Some people don't think Roman Catholics are Christians, but that doesn't change the fact that they are Christian -- and were long before the various Protestant denominations. And it says nothing about the validity of Catholic beliefs. The same holds for any other religion.
I'll take my 32 years as a Mormon over the website. Thanks!
