Sports Plus has a track and field program: http://www.playsportsplus.org/uploads/Mont_Track_Fall_2014.pdf
I believe they work primarily with children who have intellectual and/or emotional challenges.
That would be incorrect. "SPORTS PLUS programs are designed for children whose capabilities fit between existing mainstream sports programs and adaptive sports programs." They are an inclusive program and can accommodate kids who have ASD, ADHD or other disability.
whoa now, calm down. ASD, ADHD are in the intellectual and emotional challenges categories. I know because my DS has ADHD with some LDs and has participated in Sports Plus programs. The vast majority of the kids I've seen in the programs were obviously (at least to me) not neuro-typcial. I am sure children without challenges are welcome to participate but I'm not sure this is what OP is talking about with her non-athltic DS. Or maybe she is.....
Not being NT isn't the same thing as being intellectually and/or emotionally challenged.
