They are addictive and as you correctly infer, a waste of time.

Uh, yeah, something like that.  You make it sound easier than it is to "enforce video game rules."  It's not so much different than a crack or heroin or gambling addiction really. And once it is established you are not going to get your kid to change course without a major, major blow-up.[/quote]
