Sorry I have to correct the record here.  The Klan burned people alive.  They drug them from chains on the back of trucks.  They definitely raped.  They kill children.   They have cut off men's genitals.  Have you ever seen a human being slow roasted on a spit?  Thank the Klan for an image that I can't erase from my head, ever.

The difference is that we in America have stopped them.  Whenever they do something horrible, the state police and the Feds crack down.  Morris Dees and the SPLC file suits to bankrupt them.  And if necessary, thousands of national guardsmen come out.  The difference is that they are less successful and our government protects us.  They are no less evil.[/quote]
