[/quote] I am the pp who wrote the bolded part above and find that it's often the case that when faced with disturbing facts, the result is a professed strengthening of faith. Some faith is impervious to new information and supernatural- based religions (i.e. most religions) rely on people with this type of faith to survive. As the US and other developed countries become more secularized, fewer people have this type of faith and fewer will be teaching it to their children.[/quote]
