Um, no.  The instructions for OP's stroller say this: 
• Do not run/jog with children under 6 months of age in the stroller seat or if using a car 
seat with the Baby Jogger Car Seat Adaptor. [b]Always check with your child's pediatrician 
before running/jogging with your child.[/b]

they say this to avoid liability and for the lowest common denominator. I have a friend who is a big runner and has won 5K races pushing her infant in the jogging stroller with the carseat. I've run with my kid in there as well, took stroller strides on maternity leave. It is perfectly fine and really no dif then driving with them. [/quote]

Or push a stroller over gravel.  Or go over a bump.  Or come down off a curb onto the street level.  Etc...  I'm a new poster and I totally get having the head supported.  But if you are on a fairly smooth surface and the baby is in a car seat it really is not different than driving.  [/quote]
