There is absolutely no excuse for this to occur here.  We are a privileged society, even our most poor have some amount of safety net.  They do not face the same kind of poverty, the same kind of absolute destituteness, they same kind of literally fighting to survive each day struggles.

The OP didn't write anything about wanting suggestions.  It sounded like a vent about school shootings with some folks comparing America with war torn and 3rd world countries with regard to school violence.  This is my post in response.  Clear as mud??

Seems like reading comprehension is needed in addition to critical thinking.
