I made the joke because apparently over 100 cats are missing in our area in the last 2 months. Either there is a cat serial killer or someone is cooking them. Neither option really appeals to my sensibilities. Either way I was making light of a grim statistic. Technically the cats aren't strays, but missing house cats.[/quote]
