After care is stressing me out. I have a few centers that are ok but not great. Like other elementary schools, our school has a lot of PTA sponsored after school activities that I would like my future kindergartener to participate in. All the centers informed me that they do not do a second pick up so my child will most likely not be able to do the school activities. We went from mid-70's back in July 2013 to #30 in April 2014. Do I have any shot of getting off this list by September?
I don't know the exact timeframe, but do know that the SACC office sends out an inquiry to all those on the wait list (and maybe those currently enrolled) so that they can update their numbers for the coming year. I suspect, but you should call the office to confirm, the movement you saw that put you from the 70's to #30 was as a result of this inquiry which took into account the 6th graders leaving and other families that were waiting that have since found other options/moved. Good luck!
