We moved from Brooklyn 3 years ago with a large dog and found a rental IB for Maury.  We use Craigslist and contacted local rental agencies to help us look with a pet.  We convinced two owners to accept our dog and went with the slighter larger house (2 bedrooms and den/office) for $2650.  We found more rentals in the late spring/early summer on the market.  We were chosen over childless couples and single roommates renters because we we perceived as more stable and wouldn't damage the house.  You have to work that angle. Send pics of your animals, etc.[/quote]
