I couldn't disagree more, if it was in fact suicide. Suicide is contagious and inherited. These two babies now grow up with the specter of a mother who took her own life. Much better to have a live mother, illness or addiction and all; at least a living mother has the chance to love them and the chance to get better. [/quote]

Its not this simple.  You need to educate yourself.  One family member may have an entirely different life, than another family member.  Apples and oranges.

Not all people handle depression, mental issues, and/or alcoholism (for example) the same.  You know this, right?
