I think things turned for me around 38 / 39 (I'm 40 now). I look my age now. Before then I think I looked younger than my years - people would always assume I was in my late 20s / early 30s. Lines have appeared, my skin doesn't have the glow it once did, I can see the sun damage. Ugh, just writing this is depressing me.
Really, get over it. People age. It is creepy to look 20 years younger than you actually are. Just be the best version of "you" at the age you are. Be healthy, stay active in mind, body and heart. The rest really doesn't matter.
I think we'd all love to age gracefully, PP! I look back at pictures from the year I was engaged and married, and I don't think anyone would have guessed I was 33 at the time; I too always looked younger than my years. As other PPs have mentioned, I feel like I aged 10 years in the time it took me to deliver a baby. I AM healthy and active in mind, body, and heart, but unfortunately that hasn't reversed the uneven skin, baggy eyes, and spider veins that have magically appeared in the past couple of years....
