Yes. I do that. For my own clothes, I lay them out flat on top of each other in a pile and then take them into the closet where I hang up each article of clothing (except jeans, which I fold). My panties and bras obviously don't get folded but put into their drawer. Socks get matched and then taken into their drawer. I fold my boyfriend's clothes and then put them away. Same with towels. Our comforter and sheets, I just take them out of the dryer and immediately put them back on the bed.
why is this obvious? i fold mine. jesus do you mean to tell me i've been folding my underthings all these years for nothing? thanks mom.
PP here. Haha, I don't know, I thought it was obvious. I just line up my bras so that they are in a pile but laid out. This makes no sense. I don't know how to explain it! But my panties I literally just ball them all up into one big pile and throw them in the drawer. I NEVER fold them. I'm kind of an organization/neat freak so I guess this is why. The panties just being thrown into their drawer is the only uncharacteristic thing.
NP here. That's funny. I fold all of them and put them in the drawer in their appropriate places. I do think that balling up all the undies and then throwing them in the drawer would bug me! :) What if you want a particular pair and you have to push the pile around, looking for them?
I used to fold. Stopped a year ago in a moment of clarity. So liberating!!
This would bother me each time I opened my dresser drawer and saw everything there in a big bunchy mess! Wouldn't be liberating at all! Would drive me up a wall! Liberating would be knowing that it's done and organized, so each time I don't have to open up the dresser drawer and see a big mess! Awww, peace. . .organization. . .all is well in the world. . . :)
