I don't use term, but I don't think it refers to ethnicity.  I take it to be referncing an attitude that your child is singular and would melt away if conditions weren't just right for his/her survival.

And I get the offense felt by some parents who feel their child's needs aren't being met, but DCPS has a whole host of other responsibilities to families that do and should come before GT--and they're struggling with those as it is.  If you think VA schools are superior, then it's fair to consider your comments here as trolling.[/quote]
