In the actual comic series, the two zombie pets were here lover and his friend, but when they were alive, they were abusive toward her.  I think that's what she was alluding to when she says they weren't human when they were alive.[/quote]
I don't read the comics, but I know the show isn't true to the comics. They seemed like a good couple in the flashback - her lover agreed with on art and stood up to his friend. But... That's all of a 3 minute flashback.[/quote]
