Stop the melodrama.  The mayor was using the most obvious heart-strings example, where were kids from NJ being bused into NYC to? A field trip on the first week of school?  I am intimately aware of this area, it sucks in general.  And I didn't explicitly bring up the Big B, I'm simply pointing out that apples to apples, there isn't much there there, other than politics as usual and a rogue staffer who is probably cleaning out her desk.[/quote]

The kids weren't going on a field trip. They were trying to get to school. The lane closures caused backups throughout the town. What evidence do you have that this was a "rogue staffer"? That's a presumption on your part. [/quote]
