Immediately upon coming in the door, I vow to hang up our coats, organize the boots / shoes, make sure our lunch bags are dismantled and repacked for the next day.  That stuff all clutters up the front door area.

I already set out my son's clothes for the week in a closet organizer (5 complete outfits so he can dress himself in outfits that coordinate- he is 4.5).  But I'm TERRIBLE about putting away clean laundry.  So that tends to clutter up rooms.  Another resolution: put away clean, folded laundry as soon as it comes upstairs.

Third resolution is to put away anything that is cluttering up the kitchen counters.

I feel like if I do all of those things, I can spend part of Saturday cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping, and it won't kill my entire weekend.
