OP here. Not a troll. His family is staying with us, because we invited them to spend Christmas week with us? Why is this so hard to understand?
What are you all doing for 6 days in the house? Sounds insane and not believable.
We have been doing a lot of entertaining. Today we (cousin's wife and I) just got back from shopping. Tomorrow we have church and another outing planned.
Trolly, I admire your persistence. You're still playing out this 6-day visit with cousins who live 90 minutes away. You're still expecting us to believe that folks would pack their bags for 6 days to drive to stay at a cousin's house. They'd give up sleeping in their own bed, doing their own laundry, eating in their own kitchen for a week so they could do it 90 minutes away. Where are you located? Your place is so fabulous that people drive less than 2 hours for a week long visit?
OMG Pennsylvania people do this all the time. I've had 25 years of it now. If they do, I'm sure there are others. Just because it's not part of your family culture doesn't mean it's fake.
