omg these guys out here (in Arlington) run with and after the truck, and manually throw it in--their backs must be so strong!--and if there is even one piece of trash that gets away, they go after it.  And do it all in this weather that is horrible, just horrible compared to Los Angeles.

PP is right, I'm sure they make a good living, but I'm going to tip them.  Most people ignore them but I think they are great.  And interesting, too…I had a nice conversation with the leaf sucker-upper guy (I've never seen that machine before)[/quote]
