He started a part-time preschool program 2 mornings a week in September. We thought that his verbal development would skyrocket after then but it's been pretty much the same. That is one of the reasons why we're concerned. We think that his verbal development has been a little slow because I'm at home with him full-time and I have been able to read his gestures and sounds. [/quote] Try U of MD/Leap at age three for preschool. It has nothing to do with you staying home. If anything, it is better as you have the love and patiences to nurture him and understand his needs better than someone else.[/quote]
