They could not participate in the DC city basketball tournament because of the old players. Landon and Prep are not alone in having boys who redshirt – and since many of them probably also started kindergarten at age 6 (a common practice), it would absolutely not be uncommon to have multiple 19 year plods (and some 20) by graduation.[/quote]
