Since you are in Virginia, definitely apply to UVA, W&M, and VT - you never know! Others have also suggested a great mix of privates/out of state publics to focus on. Your DD sounds like a strong candidate and hopefully she'll get a good sense of which school would be best for her through campus visits. Good luck![/quote]
