41 years old 42 eggs 38 fertilized 28 made it to day 3 transferred 1 embryo, BFP 1 beautiful child
wowza!!!! did you freeze the other embryos? what's going to happen to them if you don't use all?
We used two of our frozen embies to conceive child #2. We still have 20 embryos left. When we went into this, given my age we thought we'd be lucky if we got one viable embryo. We made a commitment to give each embryo a chance at life. We never thought we'd be faced with trying to give a chance to 28 embryos! We've kept them in storage for a number of years. Now another family member is facing infertility so they will use some (or all, if need be) of the remaining embryos to try to conceive. If there are any remaining after that, we will probably donate them to someone else facing infertility.
